The mellow Christian hymn, Father, I Adore You, is brief and straightforward musically. It's perfect as a supplemental piece for Project 1 or 2.

Study Tips
Father, I Adore You Melody
The slow-moving melody of Father, I Adore You should fall under your fingers with little strain or fuss. Alternate between the middle (m) and index (i) fingers to pluck the melody. Work towards a tempo goal of andante, or about 76 BPM.
Chord Strum
The Reggae strum, studied in Sinner Man, is used in my recording of Father, I Adore You.
Strum downwards on beats 2 and 4.
Mute beats 1 and 3.
For a softer and more mellow tone, strum downwards with the flesh of the thumb. For a louder and brighter sound, strum downwards with the nail of the index finger.
If the Reggae strum is not to your liking, the down 2X strum or P-i-m-a 2X sound equally good and may be mixed to good effect.
