A fingerboard chart showing the notes on the first five frets of the ʻukulele. The fourth string, G, may be tuned two different ways: high G or re-entrant tuning, and low G, or linear tuning. If you're playing a tenor ʻukulele, we recommend low G tuning. However, either tuning will work fine for this course.
