Overview
This week we investigate Indonesian gamelan, Spanish flamenco and piano solo. Afterwards, you'll be fit to discuss and identify these styles, proving your mastery in an onolicious quiz.

Romantic Piano
The piano ruled the 19th century both on stage and at home. We'll listen to two European virtuosos, Liszt and Chopin, and audition an original piano style from the United States, Ragtime.
Gamelan
Now we beam our collective consciousness to Southeast Asia to savor traditional Indonesian ensembles known as gamelan.
Flamenco
Get ready for a day trip to Southern Spain to explore flamenco, the traditional music of Spanish Gypsies. Flamenco is centered around the guitar so we’re get a healthy dose of silver 'n gut as well as insight into flamenco’s links to nationalism.
