A fingerboard chart I used in my first guitar method, Beginning to Play Classical Guitar, Book 1 (1983). Although the world has changed a great deal since 1983, the notes on the fingerboard are still in the same place. This chart covers frets one to eight, i.e., the first to fifth positions.
