Pearl Harbor Unseen | Oahu, Hawaii

This is my daily view as I walk to my office at Leeward Community College: mothballed Navy ships, sluggish backwaters and peaceful watercress fields. Most students and faculty don’t notice the view but, unlike the surrounding area, this scene hasn't changed much since I taught my first class there in 1979. The still waters and green fields seem eternal.
