While teaching music at Leeward Community College Waianae, the long drive from Honolulu offered opportunities to shoot vistas along the coast. Although Waianae is off the beaten tourist path, it's photogenic. Oddly, people often yelled at me from passing cars while I photographed. Never could tell what they were saying...
