Runner at Sunset | Ala Moana Beach Park, Honolulu HI

I set exposure and focus manually and composed this image with tree and sun in the left and right thirds of the frame. With remote release in hand, I waited for a foreground subject to run by. I didn't look through the viewfinder while shooting. As the sun hung over Makakilo, I squeezed off a half dozen shots. The single runner was the best image, as the merging silhouettes of multiple runners looked jumbled.
