At the Cal I feel like I've been transported back to Hawaii of yesteryear. Why? The Cal mainly attracts folks from Hawaii's neighbor islands and Oahu countryside. Once inside, I hear pidgin galore and see odd (for Vegas) island attire. Although I'm a Boommer hounded by AARP marketing, when I'm among the patrons at the Cal I feel like a Spring chicken! The median age of patrons must be 75 or 80!
