Pacific Coast Highway | California 1

This scene is a couple hours north of San Fran and somewhere beyond Nick's Cove. Due to the endless twists and hairpin turns, I suspect California 1 was originally a hiking or cow trail and simply paved with the advent of the automobile. But ain't it an amazing thing of beauty!? Just plan on taking 4 or 5 times longer than normal to get to your destination.
