Sublime landscapes lurk inside Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, 40 miles 'o sand between Lincoln City and North Bend.

There are designated areas for camping and hiking—Horsfall Dunes—so that's where you should plant your tripod. If you value nature for peace, tranquility and beauty, avoid the RV designated areas. Don't spend all your change in the Indian casinos because it costs 5 bucks to park in the Oregon Dunes and they don't take credit cards or give change.
