Watchtower and Blooming Lupine at Knapp Circle | Port Townsend, Washington

The old watchtower, a relic of WWII, sat between Knapp Circle and Harbor Defense Way. During the1960s kids often scaled the tower, hoping to catch a glimise of a bygone era. Sadly, it was demolished in the early 2000s and only exists in our collective memories. It would have made a great depot for a zipline from Artilllery Hill!
