Koʻolau Moon | Honolulu, Hawaii |
Koʻolau Moon image is a lucky juxtaposition of moon, cloud, tree and twilight. It lasted mere seconds but is frozen forever in this photograph. To capture all three elements in the frame, I had to lie down on the ground. I've returned many times since that day but never again to a similar scene. Sadly the city parks department cut down the tree and only a stump remains. But such is life: the fleeting and evanescent are also the most memorable and beautiful.
