Outriggers in Afterglow | Waikiki HI

Peter Kun Frary | Photographer

The 1991 Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines resulted in intense lingering red sunsets and afterglows for nearly a year afterward. This image looks like a vignette filter but was the last glow of sunlight, long after sunset. I didn't have my tripod and used the self-timer while balancing the camera on a railing.
