Red mud, fields of gold and dark and brooding mountains are just a roll 'n tumble from Waialua and Haleiwa town. In the background is the Wai'anae Range and the Mokule'ia Forest Reserve. The Wai'anae Range is the eroded remains of an ancient shield volcano.
