Urban Deer Port Townsend WA
I caught Bambi wandering downtown at dusk sans Thumper. At dawn she was hanging on Jefferson Street, behind my hotel. I saw several other deer on the other side of town, including a faun.
Obviously these critters are accustomed to humans but are wild and can give you a nasty kick if you try to touch them. I was 5 or 6 feet away and she gave me the tail treatment. She didn't like having her picture taken.
And, yeah, this is about as "wild" as it gets in Port Townsend!
