Sandy River | Troutdale, Oregon

Most tourists pass by Troutdale en route to the Waterfall Corridor of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. After all, it marks the beginning of the Historic Columbia River Highway. If you look closer, you may notice it's a cute village on the Sandy River, a 56-mile (90 km) tributary of the Columbia River with rustic bridges, numerous parks, camping and scenic vistas galore.
