Hana Hou Graffiti • Honolulu HI

Most graffiti is collective folk art and for some reason fascinates me: the gritty and unorganized nature says a lot about our society. Kind of the garage band music of the art world. I shot this piece near the Hana Hou bar at 9:00 PM with the rather dramatic light of street lamps. Indeed it would make a great backdrop for a model just long as she isn't afraid of catching something nasty off the wall!
